how to get beachy waves with curly Hair?
so i have shoulder length curly hair, type 3A. i used to straighten it but now i like the look of waves & curls. i like waves more though, and i especially love blake-lively-type hair. do wave enhancing sprays [like garnier fructis] work to make curly hair wavy too, or do i need something else? if so, what should i do to get beachy waves? p.s. i do NOT want to use any heat what so ever, im done with damaging my hair.
I have about the same type of hair! I swear by Aveda’s “Be Curly” curl enhancer (in a greenish tube) and Aveda’s “Confixor” liquid gel. When you hair is wet, put about a dime/nickel size about of Be Curly and spread evenly throughout your hair and then scrunch it. Then do the same with Confixor. It gives you lovely waves! I normally let it dry naturally when I do this.
